Default Need help on setup ...

I need help on my setup and was wondering what would be the best CR for Toda A spec cams, i was thinkin 0f 12:5.1 but found out that im going to have to use race gas, so i decided to go with 11:5.1 ... But since that was the case i was going to get some skunk2 Pro 2 to replace the diffrence in power, but i want a daily driver and want the car to LAST !!! Oh and i have a 95mm SCAT crank if that makes a diffrence in the setup, got plenty more to write, Head work etc ... lookin to make at least 215_220 whp !!!

what makes you say you will have to use race gas?, if youre using it to try and make more power than great, but you can use 93, on 12:5.1.... i guess im asking why you have to or want to use the race fuel...

You don't need race gas for 12.5:1

And the prerequisites for cams has a lot more relation to how well your engine breaths (header, intake manifold, ported head) and the displacement (bore & stroke) then the compression of a piston.

as long as you understand whats needed to go the e85 route... its an awful lot of fuel delivery. youll need an entire different fuel setup to run on e85 correctly. thats if youre really looking to get the benefit and make the power out of it. you really gotta start doing your homework on why youre making the choices. dont make them because its seems like the right thing, or someone else is doing it. do it because its condusive to your setup and build. have a goal, and a purpose for the car. then build accordingly.

You do not need a entirely different fuel system to run e85. A walbro 255hp lph fuel pump, stock lines, and some 600+cc injectors is more then enough for a all motor b-series.
