Yeah I know man. I think about it everyday and wonder if it's worth it. But in the end I always find some reason to continue. I'm very stubborn and when I want something I will go for it. So I guess imma just do this and get it over with. Thanks alot for the advice though.

I'd worry about the fuel now. ID1000 injectors are what you want if you do a high pressure setup. If you dont know what that is, it is basically where your fuel system is set-up to run a high base pressure 90-100psi. What this does is make the ID1000 injectors act like 1500cc injectors. Alot of people will tell you a high base pressure is not good, in most cases it is not, but in this case they are wrong. Here is a link for you to read up on. Injector Dynamics

I think a walbro 255LPH HP in-tank, stock lines to a Bosch044 inline should be good for 550whp. Try it and see, make changes if need be. My goal was 600whp with the same set-up..

Another thing to remember is that you need a fuel pressure regulator that can support this high fuel pressure set-up. The easiest choice is the Fuelab modded regulator. Plus the new mini one is bad ass!

Ok I now have a general idea of the whole fuel setup now thanks to you again. That fuellab FPR is wicked sick. A good friend of mine gave me a SARD FPR. What do you think of that. But I think I might put it up for sale. I really like the fuelab one. So basically for fuel I'll need ID1000, walbro 255, and a FPR?

By the way my name is jeff man. Thanks again. What times is the shop open. I would like to stop by if possible.

In addition to the walbro fuel pump you will need a bosch 044 inline fuel pump. I'd say sell the SARD FPR because im sure it does not support a high fuel pressure system you need for the ID1000 injectors to work properly and flow enough for your goals.

The shop is open ~11am-6/7pm most days. I have not been there lately due to some complications.

Ok cool. I'm going to try and stop by sometime next week.

For the fuelab FPR which one should I get? There are four different mini ones. The 53501,53502,54501 and 54502?

As for sleeving my block do you have a reputable local machine shop you would recommend? I really don't want to go through the hassle of shipping my block to golden eagle all the way in California.

HPC offer's engine sleeving services via mazworx. They are Darton MID Sleeves, guaranteed no drop or sinking. 950$ + Shipping. This service does not include final hone or line bore. Stop by HPC or give fred a call at the shop for an exact quote!

As far as the fpr goes, you need the one with the custom spring pressure and with the return port on the bottom. I just noticed the mini dosent have a -10 inlet option. You might have to get the standard size one, -10 inlet, -6an return. I believe it is better to get the bigger one now rather then change it in the future if you need too.
