| ok guys am in the middle of boosting my hatch, and in the research and buying parts... the motor a d16 stock, i also want to keep it OBD2 am thinking of getting hondata, but from what i can find it's for OBD1 so can i use hondata on my car? i also need a good place where i can buy it new. or any other ECU turning upgrade. thanks.

| You can't tune OBD2, you will need a jumper harness to convert it to OBD1.

| For Hondata, you would have to convert to OBD1. The AEM EMS can support OBD2 as far as i know. There are a few other programs out there that can support OBD2 also. However, i would recommend Hondata. I have only heard good things about them. You can buy it from Fred@HPC(HPC.DERF) and i think Kenny(Turbogixxer) has them but i'm not sure. As far as getting the car tuned, i would recommend any of these two guys. They always do some good work. |

| Just get a Hondata when you are manual, because you will also have to buy a super expensive auto obd2 to auto obd1 jumper harness.

| alright man so i can i just go and find a ECU in a junk yard and It will work? cause i just told my dad what to do (what you said) and he said something about that the serial number on the ECU and my not plug in/ or work? what you think? am thinking if the ECU is from the same type of car (civic D16) it will work...
