I have a boosted B20 and its just as safe as any other boosted engine.. all in the tune! the only way sleeves crack is cuz of detonation.. research detonation and what are the causes and then you wont have worries about cracking the sleeve.

Kenny knows his shit, but dont bring your ride with ANY problems..

theres a check list for tuning on his thread..the do's and dont's before bringing your ride for tune.

Detonation is not the only way sleeves crack.
