HOMESTEAD MEET & GREET?

Hello FHC, as you know I moved down here recently and have found this forum as my on line cubby hole. I did notice one thing, there are more than a handful of people on here that are from the Homestead area. I just have not seen you guys in person. In the spirit of common interest and maybe some new party-time friends I propose a Homestead meet & greet. If there is a meet already being conducted, please let me in on your secret. I figured a good place and time would be at the track in our back yard say around March 12th at 6:00pm? Im sure a few of you attend, but if we all did it ahead of time and met up it would give me some face time with you guys.

This time is not in stone but mearly a suggestion for a few reasons. One, I will be working this weekend. Two, It will give the weather some time to warm up a little bit. Three it gives people time to adjust accordingly.

Thoughts? Questions? Comments?

Ill make a list of folks who are planning to attend if this is something that interests you guys...

Seems like a good idea, but I wouldn't meet at the track $10 just to say hi to a few people doesn't seem like fun and if you've ever been to the track you have to park in certain places. Example: If you're racing you can park in the lot, if not you're stuck on the grass. How would we ever find each other?

If you're looking just to meet a few of us Homestead people, try Friday nights at the Blockbuster on 288th st. We meet up between 9-10. If you get there later than that we might be gone, because some weekends we go to us-27.

Sounds like a great solution to the meet and greet. Thanks, this is a lil more what I was looking for. I just threw the track out the because Im not very well in tune with the area yet. Im not much of a fan of a 1/8th mile anyway. The only thing I use HMS is for this---->
