There's a discussion going on on H-T whether or not to keep the street stock class or create a new 11.50 index class. Both myself and Kevin have voiced our opinions on the matter but Im curious as too if anyone is actually going to compete in the street stock class? I think the 11.50 class opens up a door to the guys who were racing or planning to race in the DR class, plus incorperating all motor cars and various stock turbo cars. For those oh you who aren't familiar with the street stock class, its bascially an all motor class where your engine must be from your car. SO for an example an integra would have to retain its b series, no eg/ek with swaps.
Whats are your thoughts?

I voted for 11.5 index in the HT thread. Street stock seems to have a big following up north, but I think it would be a ghost town down south. I can name quite a few people that would come out for an 11.5 index down south.

so basically only B16A2 99-00 ugly coupe civics and plain jane overhyped how come so many people like the car DC integra? maybe some ep3's and fg's rolling out with the occasional rsx that goes fast. auuuuuuguiiiiise!!

I hope they try the 11.50 index class down here....we shall see!

Up north there are like 30ish street stock cars. A few of the rsx's are running low 12's btw

Ok guys, John and I are going to finalize this today, but it looks like this:

"Street Stock" contested at Northeast Region Events only.
"11.50 Index" contested at Southeast Region Events only.
"Fun Runs/ET Bracket" contested at Notheast Region and Southeast Region Events.

All other classes on NSCRA site will be run at Notheast Region and Southeast Region Events.
