The racecar is equipped with a special VK56DE V8 powerplant with a 5.6 liter displacement and produces up to 600hp (447kW) and a torque of 480lb-ft (650Nm).

Power reaches the rear wheels through a six-speed transaxle by Ricardo and 5.5 inch carbon fiber triple plate clutch. Braking system is provided by carbon ceramic discs with 6-piston calipers all around, fitted on 18 inch forged alloy wheels produced by Rays. Further elements consist of a curb weight totaling just 2,976lbs in contrast to the factory version logged in at 3,792lbs., and a 65 million Yen ($720,000) price tag.

It's all good, i had a spare motor chillin waiting to be put in. Car will be back on the road in a few days.

Mad props to Honda for not continuing with their NSX replacement, when they realized they were up against Godzilla they had no choice but to drag their tail between their legs and cancel. Much respect Honda.
